Day 6! So yesterday i got a little confused and ended posting blush instead of eye palette but all is well!
Slowly but surely it seems my ever growing makeup collection is being totally taken over by drugstore makeup, mainly Makeup Revolution and revlon, i'm not ashamed lol. So many drugstore brands have stepped up their game and i've always loved makeup revolution because it's super affordable and they have amazing products. I must have spoken about Makeup Revolution as a brand about a million times on all my social media sites and honestly i think everyone who's new to makeup and/or doesnt have hundreds to spend of highend brands should give them a try. Makeup Revolution never fail to amaze me, how they can create such high quality, professional products with literally the tiniest price tag simply baffles me. They have been coming out with so many new products recently and one of them is the Fortune Favours The Brave palette, a product designed by the amazing beauty blogger, BritishBeautyBlogger.
Fortune Favours The Brave was one of the most exciting spring launches for me because it meant i would have a small palette which has so many different shades to do almost any makeup look and is travel friendly. Makeup Revolution launched this gorgeous palette in collaboration with British Beauty Blogger and seeing how good it looks and how versatile it seems I had to get it, i did put it off for a while because my obsession with eyeshadows is getting out of hand but at the low low price of Makeup Revolution, i couldn't pass it up. Of course it was selling out like crazy in the first couple of weeks, but I managed to find it at Superdrug*. It retails for £9.99
Now let’s talk about the eyeshadows. Fortune Favours the Brave comes in lovely golden packaging (which is a little heave and doesnt feel cheap) and inside you have 30 different shades which range from blues, taupes, browns, peaches etc and they come a mix finishes of mattes, glimmer and sheen. I like all the different colours and it's what really drew me the palette and you can totally split the palette into four shadows and have about 8 different eyeshadows looks and mix and match!
To sum everything up, I think the Fortune Favours the Brave palette is great and an amazing deal. I love the shadows, the pigmentation, the finishes, packaging and just the palette is amazing, they perform impressively throughout the day and don't bleed at all. It came with a brush but i dont usually use palette brushes and this one is no different (sorry Makeup revolution). Tis collab was awesome and i admire Beauty blog anyway so i HAD to get this.
