- Kylie Jenner Lip Tutorial – Can we stop with her lips already??? Yeah they're fake and I kinda don't care now plus her makeup isn't that great after all. Does there really have to be another kylie jenner lip tutorial ALL OVER YOUTUBE?! when there are already sooooo many out there? I’m not really a fan of the exaggerated and overdrawn lips so this never appealed to me. Cause you know...I'm a women of colour with big lips already.
- Kylie Jenner Inspired Look – (well I'm kinda over it but I still like to watch them) Once again, there are just way too many of these tutorials and a beauty guru does a youtube tutorial and I swear I see at least one Kylie-inspired look once a week.
- Strobing/Highlight – Strobing is the latest new trend in beauty, supposedly the new contour (I doubt it, I still do full on contouring ). It’s basically highlighting your face but to the extreme. I do actually like the way some highlighter look when it's not too much.
- Liquid Lipsticks – nope, can't stand overly matte lips and liquid lipsticks just seem so annoying. Nope.
- Fake eyelashes – Agh, fake eyelashes is a pet peeve of mine. I think they look soooo pretty, BUT I HAVE NEVER SEEN SO MANY BEAUTY GURUS OR YOUTUBERS COME OUT WITH THEIR OWN LINE OF LASHES OR PROMOTE SO MANY DIFFERENT LASH COMPANIES. Plus I can't put them on so I hate them anyway.
- Faded eyebrows – what the hell are even faded eyebrows? Like who came up with the idea that the front has to be super light and the back has to be super dark??? If you don't over tweeze and leave your eyebrows and just fill them in properly then you'll be fine. I know everyone's got eyebrow preferences but I am judging HARD right now.
- Too much bronzer – Some bronzer is good, it can really transform your face and make it super summer glow-y BUT GURL EASE UP ON THE BROZERED UP FACE AND CHEEKS!!!
- 3D Fiber Eyelashes – even if someone paid me I wouldn't put fiber on my eyelashes, as good of an idea that is, I would never use it. Nope, over it.
