REVIEW // URBAN DECAY

hello my loves, today id doing a review for the urban decay flushed dupe palette.

So i've been thinking about buying the urban decay flushed palette but didn't wanna pay that urban decay price (if you know what i mean!). I've been in love with it ever since I saw it on their website, but when I found out I could get a dupe for way less than the original price, I knew I would get this one instead and try it out and if i liked it then i'd for sure buy the real one but lets be honest, most teenagers ain't got $32 (£20) but there's highlighters out there that are cheaper and work just as well or better.

I bought this palette a month ago on Aliexpress and it only cost me under £2 because obviously its a dupe.

*the first two pictures are not my own as i threw away my box and mine came in a package exactly like this*

This is the back. It shows the actual colors along with a pretty funny text in both English and French

This is what it looks like out of the box and when i took it out it had a bit of tape covering it so it didn't go everywhere thats why theres some muck on the front but that doesn't bother me. i've seen pictures and a friend has one so im aware of what it should look like and they look exactly the same! you really couldn't tell the difference between them except that the dupe made a weird nose when you shade it. The only thing I found was that some of the gold letters had faded, but that doesn't really bother me. The palette closes by a magnet on both sides like most UB Naked palettes.

When opened, this is what the palette looks like. it contains a bronzer, highlighter, and a blush (right). I'm happy this one has a mirror inside. It's as wide as the palette.

These are the swatches in the same order. The highlighter is very pigmented and bright! i feel like the bronze colour doesn't do much for more and would be suited to a much lighter skin tone than mine. The price you pay is so worth it if you're looking for a dupe and aren't fully on committing on the real thing just yet. The highlighter has a slight pinky undertone to it which isn't my fave because i prefer gold type highlighters because i feel they suit my skin tone better but each to their own. I love that the glitters are really subtle but i like a really highlighted look so i kind of just just build it up.

I have nothing bad to say about this palette. I love the highlighter color but the bronzer and blush aren't really for me, i prefer darker blushes. This Urban Decay Naked Flushed dupe can be bought here for £1.83.

If you have the palette let me know what you think of it and how its worked for you?

Question of the week: contour or Highlighter?
